Commonwealth Athletes Village
With only one week until the Glasgow 2014 commonwealth games got underway, Eastern had the privilege of helping brand the Athlete’s Village. We were impressed with the site which covers 35 Hectares, has 6,500 beds and will provide 700 future homes.
The site was to become home to the 6,500 athletes and CGA team officials for the duration of the Games.
The Village has an exclusive retail area, recreation area, dining hall, medical facility and other amenities for the use of the athletes and officials.
And we think it looks pretty cool too!
Eastern Exhibition & Display were proud to sponsor TEAMPLAYERS a photographic exhibition which features ten up and coming athletes photographed individually against iconic Scottish landscapes. The locations range from the countryside to urban and industrial.
