A new life and style event was announced for Edinburgh to highlight the best aspects of city life.

An exciting new “Life & Style Edinburgh” event featuring celebrity and local speakers, workshops, fashion shows, free beauty treatments, and over 40 city centre businesses had been announced by award-winning event planners, Essential Edinburgh, for the city in the summer of 2017. The event took place on Saturday, July 1, and Sunday, July 2, and highlighted the best of life in the capital.

Visitors of all ages and interests were able to explore different themed rooms across three floors, including technology, fashion, food and drink, travel, fitness, beauty, and interior design, each brimming with workshops, talks, and pop-up shops from Harvey Nichols, Jessops, BoConcept, John Lewis, Waterstones, and many other top city centre businesses. The event transformed the iconic Royal Society of Edinburgh building on George Street into a two-day shopping and socialising hub and we were happy to help out with all the graphics and signs that were necessary to make sure this event went off with a bang.

Tickets holders had the advantage of complimentary beauty treatments from companies like Lush, Bobbi Brown, and Neal’s Yard Remedies, reserved seating at fashion shows featuring top fashion labels like Anthropology, Oliver Bonas, Marks & Spencer, Covet, Gap, and others, cocktail-making masterclasses with Badger & Co., tea tasting with The East India Company, styling sessions with Jenners, and a seat at the “Lifestyle Stage,” where celebrities were having speeches.

The event is designed as an experience for visitors of different interests, so if you’re more interested in sport than shopping, there are areas and workshops designed just for you.
